Cyprus black salt has a light and delicate flavor and a crunchy texture, it goes well with many white fish recipes, with eggs, soups and potatoes, even fried ones. Its particular black color is due to the addition of activated vegetable carbon.
Black salt is a sea salt that comes from the waters of the island of Cyprus and comes in pyramid-shaped crystals.
It can be used in cooking as a condiment for numerous recipes, or to garnish and decorate dishes in pale colours, thanks to its characteristic touch of dark colour, and obtain a strong scenographic impact.
