The original whole black rice, black rices have distant exotic origins, but are grown in Italy, where historically they were obtained from the crossing of ancient Chinese black rices, to which they owe their characteristic scent, and Italian risotto rices. This is why its grains, full-bodied and a source of fibre, are suitable for every recipe thanks to their ability to better absorb condiments, enhancing them with their scent of freshly baked bread. Steam pre-cooking (parboiled) shortens cooking times.
